Size chart is accurate. I measured and Doyle was right at the small side of the 7XL so it is slightly bigger and the Velcro has some room both ways. He is a 75lbs pitbull. It definitely keeps him warm, you can reach inside to pet him and feel how warm it is inside. Little pocket on the back for poop bags and a hole for his leash.
