My cat is 10.5 pounds and I quickly measured her from the base of her head to the base of her tail and it was 14 inches . I don’t think this would work for a cat much bigger than her . I ordered. A large . Sometimes I think the part around her neck is borderline too tight. The first two nights she somehow was able to get the part that goes around her neck over her shoulders and halfway down her body . She has been fine in it ever since . The back part around the legs has stretched a little and her back paws slipped out of the leg holes several times, so we always had to check on her to make sure she could walk and not use the restroom all over herself and the onesie . With that said, my cat is scared of everything and she ended up handling this pink outfit just fine . It was a life saver compared to the three things we had before this . It split a little around each paw and she’s been wearing it for nine days with one more to go ! :kissing_cat:★★★★★★★★★By RR

I wish I knew how to sew...I would make a ton of these and sell them for $7 max. These "recovery suits" make sense but its really not rocket science to cover a cat's torso with a t-shirt. A real recovery suit would have double sided fabric and maybe even a quick drying or waterproof layer. Then I could justify paying $15-$30 for these things. Also--the sizes run large in my opinion. When I follow the size chart I always end up buying an over sized suit...my cat is 12 lbs and 13.5" long. Size M seems to be a good fit because of the stretch. I've already bought 3 of these (different manufacturers) and the suit that was most expensive at $27 was the only suit that was sturdy.★★★★★★★★★By themissa
My cat had emergency surgery to remove stones from his bladder and wound up with a great big incision along his belly. The cone worked fine while he was still medicated and woozy, but it was killing me to watch him try to maneuver it. I got this and used it along with the cone for days 9-11, then without the cone post day 11.Using it with the cone so the cat gets used to it seems to be key, particularly for a cat unused to be dressed up in a little onesie. He was so happy to get rid of that cone and used to the onesie, so we had zero problems with him trying to take it off. That said, this isn't thick at all. My cat was scratching himself where the band for his cone was (quite naturally since he'd had his neck covered for so long) and I could hear the snagging of the shirt. Sure enough, when I looked you could see even that small bit of scratching had damaged the material. It's quite thin, but that almost makes it comfortable for the cat. The knit isn't tight or slick enough to deflect claws. So, yes, this works for the short run to relieve a cat from the Cone of Shame, but not as a long term outfit for a cat who might scratch at all.★★★★★★★★★By A Christy
