Thanks to other reviews, I made sure to measure my dog and add two sizes up to whatever the measurement table recommended. For my 58 pound Shiba/German Shepherd mix, the table recommended a 5xl. So I ordered an 6XL, and it is a perfect fit with a little bit of leeway. I love that it is so so warm without her feeling suffocated (as she hates clothes that go over head. For a dog with a small head, the width of her neck and chest are quite large, but the way you simply have to velcro around the dog's body is perfect.
