My pooch really loved this little jacket but my husband’s puppy tore it up! So I’m getting him another, but one size up. That’s why I’m leaving this review, to remind you to get the correct size! My dog is a bit thicker in the chest than I realized, so I’m getting him an extra large, even though he’s a medium sized dog. I love how the plaid matches my husband’s jacket he got for Christmas. But I bought the jacket because my little guy gets cold and sits next to the heating vent all the time so I hoped this would help and honestly, he just loves it.-------------Laura Wallace
This coat is well-made, fits our West Highland Terrier perfectly, and looks great. We liked it so much, we bought a second on in a different color. He's now the best dressed dog around. I suggest measuring your dog before you purchase. Our Westie weighs about 20 pounds, and we measured him from neck to the base of the tail. Our dog has short hair and gets cold when we go camping, so we needed a jacket that would be soft enough for her to sleep in but durable enough for her to play in. This jacket is great! The Velcro is super strong and the fabric is nice and soft. Be sure to use the size guide, though. Our dog is slim and 45lbs, but she required an 4XL. It fit perfectly because we measured her, but she’s more of a medium-sized dog otherwise, so if not for the size guide, we would have ended up with the wrong size.-------------Debra
