The large fits my cat like a charm. She is 16 y/o and a smidge over 8 pounds. She had mammary masses removed on her tummy with lots of sutures, and hated the Ecollar. This is a blessing! It is very soft and stretchy. I would like for it to be a little bit thicker to offer more protection. My kitten was spayed recently and we used the recovery suit after her surgery. We learned about the recovery suit when she had to have one of her front legs amputated a few months ago after an injury. She came home with the dreaded collar on and had it off in less that 5 minutes. We put a recovery suit on her (with the leg hole sewed up where she was missing her leg) and it was perfect. This item never arrived even though Petsserect says it did. I was sitting next to the front door when I got the notification that it had been delivered and no one had come by.
