The jacket is well made. Literally like a nice winter jacket made to fit for my dog as well as being an easy machine wash. One thing to keep in mind is the Velcro sticks under the neck and stomach to tighten the jacket. I wish they made it a little thinner so when my dog lies down it didn't lift him up so much. He could be absolutely fine! To me its just a little to thick. Also, depending on your dog size they may pee a little on the Velcro strap as well, as again it's pretty thick and does cover a lot of the stomach area. I have a shitzu and bought a size up but I think I could have just gotten his actually size. I think it all depends on each specific dog but I found the measurements to be pretty accurate.-------------Timothy Kim
I bought 3 of these coats for 3 different dogs of various sizes, ages, and tolerance of wearing things. These are by far the easiest coats we've gotten and used and the dogs love them! And using them in reverse during the snow was helpful keeping the dogs dry so they could cuddle up to us on the couch and not get everything so wet or smell as much of wet dog as they would have after playing outside so long! There wasn't too much "stretch", per se, but the large velcro straps allowed this 3 different-sized dogs to fit easily into the same size coats. These were also super easy to put on and take off, and the dogs all moved around so easy and looked extremely happy to wear these, even the puppy who doesn't even like wearing a harness!-------------Brian
This coat looks so cute and it is a cinch to get on & off of our dog. My husband & I are crazy about this dog coat & Missy seems to really like it a lot. (I bought a different exceptionally well constructed dog coat but that different dog coat is so complicated to put on & off the dog we have never used it. When Missy needs to go out we don't have adequate time to figure that coat out.) This coat is simple to get on her. Missy wags when we put this coat on her in cold weather & sometimes does not want us to take it off of her when she comes in. She likes the swaddling feel.
