These coats are great. I ordered two, one in the black and white check and the red/black plaid for our other rescue. They fit them perfectly and cover them from neck to the rear. Our black lab is older and has a little bit more girth than she probably should but was very enthused to find the "plus" sizing for her. I've returned a few winter coats that don't cover well, but these really do. We walked them this morning after a snow last night and it was 28 degrees out. They freely move around when they're wearing them, which was a problem with some of the others. They were so darn cute. I really recommend these. They're well made, have a quilted interior for extra warmth inside of the flannel and they are as cute as they can be. Like I said, I've tried several brands and have doled out a fair amount of money for not so great products. It happens. I gave these a shot and I'm sure glad I did.-------------mrsjmac
Ordered a size 3XL for my 30ish lb mini Australian Shepherd. Perfect fit, especially for dog clothes. He is a chesty breed and his neck to chest ratio makes finding a proper fit difficult. This is easy to put on AND!!! my ausshole LOVES wearing it, which is a major surprise after the Socks Incident that took place a week prior. He was not impressed with me on that one. Bonus points for the pocket and leash hole, I am able to put this on right over his harness. 10/10 hand down.Side note, this guy has chewed on his a few times and it’s no worse for the wear.-------------Team Mac
I'm giving 5 stars bc the coat is very nice and well worth it. However the sizes would be appropriate if examples of types of dogs. I don't measure my animals so I bought an XL thinking it would fit a Golden... it fit my very petite basset.. the size of a little poddle.... so for larger dogs, I'd recommend like 5XL... lol just beware the sizes really dont make sense. Maybe put in details, ideal for... yorkie, poodle, boxer, goldens, Germans, and great danes... it would help on returns. I ended up buying one from target bc I didnt want to wait longer :-(-------------Jo Provencher
